Upcoming League Champ Ziggs Abilities, Lore, and More
If the initial tease and Art Spotlight left you curious for more information on the Hexplosives expert, you'll be happy to hear that Riot just released some more information on the upcoming Yordle League champ- Ziggs. Abilities:
- Short Fuse (Passive) - Every 12 seconds Ziggs' next basic attack deals bonus magic damage. This cooldown is reduced whenever Ziggs uses an ability.
- Bouncing Bomb - Ziggs throws a bouncing bomb that deals magic damage.
- Satchel Charge - Ziggs flings an explosive charge that detonates after 4 seconds, or when this ability is activated again. The explosion deals magic damage to enemies, knocking them away. Ziggs is also knocked away, but takes no damage.
- Hexplosive Minefield - Ziggs scatters proximity mines that detonate on enemy contact, dealing magic damage and slowing.
- Mega Inferno Bomb (Ultimate) - Ziggs deploys his ultimate creation, the Mega Inferno Bomb, hurling it an enormous distance, Enemies in the primary blast zone take more damage than those further away.
Now the only question left is, will we hear "Nuclear Launch Detected" whenever Ziggs busts out his ult? Hopefully we'll see a spotlight late this weekend or Monday.

What is SotL?
State of the League is a project designed to help inform the League of Legends community.
Because Riot Games has designed LoL on the platform of "gaming as a service", the game itself is constantly evolving. As a League player, it's sometimes hard to follow all of the changes. Furthermore, the constant balance tweaks and the introduction of new champions every two weeks prevents most of the community from completely understanding what is going on within the game.
The competitive scene is also hard to follow. With League's involvement in the explosion of E-Sports, new tournaments are being played every week with awesome new teams forming and stars rising everyday. While there are some who can watch and follow all of this, some of us don't have the time or dedication.
