State of the League

There are a lot of League of Legends sites out there, and most of them have a lot of bloggers. It's a tall order to keep up with all of it, but don't you worry; we'll do it for you. We like you that much.

Each week, we'll keep track of the best blogs, vlogs, podcasts, sites and articles from the rest and compile them into one handy (and also dandy) post for you to use as a guide to the week's League of Legends happenings. But we're not perfect. Did we miss something? Let us know.

It's been awhile since our last update, and we hopefully won't make that the norm. (As always, however, there are zero promises.) That said, it seems like we could've taken a more organized approach to this, so here's a different take on it. If it's popular, we'll roll with it! If not, we'll head back to the old ways like the cowards we are.

ggChronicle

• The Trinity Force boys were back again with their latest episode, where they offered tips for helping those small fish out there turn into predators of the sea. Y'know, or something.
• Obscurica, a man you should be reading always and following closely, kept a keen eye on the Garena Premiere League (three links), since most of us prefer to sleep while those games are being played.

Reign of Gaming

• dcgreen previewed the upcoming patch changes (from what's known on the PBE). These, of course, could be adjusted at any time between then and now.
• Elementz has updated the following tier lists: bruiser, AD carry, jungle, support, AP carry, solo queue.
• He later wrote something of an open letter to the League of Legends community, asking it to clean up its act.
• Elayaya updated the Dominion tier list.
• DiffTheEnder discussed the concept behind the burden of knowledge, and he also looked at elobuff.
• Tuck359 ranked the top seven teams of the NA circuit.
• Winrar discussed the value of Avarice runes. He also took a look at the newest item in the League, Athene's Unholy Grail.
• Prant compared X to da Z and the real man of Demacia, Jay-4.
• Stonewall updated his jungle tier list for the Darius era.

SK Gaming

• sjokz (pronounced "shockz" for the curious) recapped the events of the recent weeks in two different video features. She later discussed the effect of clan hopping on the competitive scene, as well as some possibilities for remedying the issue.
• Ocelote updated his site, which isn't major news by any means, but worth taking a look at regardless.
• Mydnight interviewed Aewynia, the founder of League of Girls.
• fmde looked at the top 10 most-played champions (three links) in League of Legends' solo queue.
• Leethal interviewed TCM-Gaming's top laner, Kungen.
• Mydnight discussed Dyrus' apology from IPL4.
• WhatTheMoose discussed ganking lanes despite the presence of wards.
• Exodus885 took an in-depth look at ELO Hell, with specific input and analysis from Cruzerthebruzer and Riot's player support specialists.

Team SoloMid

• Awhile back, Xpecial weighed in on the roster moves between CLG, Dignitas and Curse. He later talked about the upcoming triple LAN in California.
• Chaox vlogged about his the upcoming events as well.
• Dyrus wrote some tips for players looking to improve their last-hitting ability, and he vlogged about the new TSM crew.
• TheOddOne vlogged about TSM's upcoming events, and may have discussed a sandwich along the way.
• Wingsofdeathx talked about the new TSM team and gave some impressions on Darius from a top-lane perspective.
• Nhat Nguyen vlogged about the recent team swaps and TSM.Evo's recent play, and touched on a few odds 'n ends.

Odds 'N' Ends

• Team Dignitas' Sui interviewed the team's new top laner, Crumbzz.
• IPL took a look at some of the recent developments in the League of Legends scene.
• SSJSuntastic broke down the difference between carrying and, well, kinda carrying.
• Enigma updated the Recommended Item Changer for the Varus patch.
• It's been a bit, but the LoLPod boys did record a show this month.
